2021 Boy Scout Troop 6 Annual Food Drive for Decatur-area Emergency Assistance Ministry (DEAM)  and Toco Hills Community Alliance

Wednesday, December 1, 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 8, 7:30 p.m.

DEAM (Decatur-area Emergency Assistance Ministry) serves residents in need in Avondale Estates and Decatur. Toco Hills Community Alliance provides food assistance, clothing and hot meals.  As with past years, the Avondale Estates Scout Troop 6 is assisting by collecting food in half the City on Wednesday evening December 1, and in the remaining areas on December 8. The Scouts are distributing flyers to each area with the date of collection.

If you wish to donate, please leave non-perishable food items in boxes or bags on your walkway or porch — and turn on the porch light. Any donations are appreciated.  The Scouts will stop by and pick up donations. The Scouts will not be knocking on any doors.

Wednesday December 1, the Scouts will pick up donations starting 7:30 p.m. on:
  • Berkeley North of Wiltshire
  • Clarendon Avenue
  • Coventry Close
  • Dartmouth Avenue
  • Exeter Road
  • Fairfield Drive

  • Kingstone Road
